Job Description
Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, performing rapid assessment, triage, and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of acute, urgent, and life-threatening conditions. Exercises independent clinical judgment to prioritize care, initiate emergency interventions, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to stabilize patients. Builds confidence and cooperation from patients, families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy, safety, and optimal care. May also assist in mentoring and orienting new staff.
Required Experience
5 years of ER RN experience required (per hiring manager)
Required Certifications
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12-hour
Every other weekend
