Quick Tips: save your resume file with your name

It may seem like a small thing, and to some recruiters and hiring managers it won’t matter too much, but saving your resume with your name instead of ‘resume’ may make a difference. When sending your resume to a staffing agency especially, you’re sending it to someone who looks at hundreds of resumes in a day. Being able to differentiate your resume in any sort of way will be beneficial to you as a candidate. Even just the ease of a recruiter being able to search their folders for “John_Smith” instead of filing through hundreds of variations of “Pharmacy_Resume2018” will make a good impression. A recruiter will be able to automatically call out your resume on their desktop or in their inbox.
