Length of Assignment: 01 year / may extend further
Hours per Week: 40hr (Possible Temp to Perm)
Shift : Days 08am to 04:30pm (Candidate's schedule can be also consider as per there availability)
Weekends: None

JOB DUTIES:
This position is providing personal care services to an employee of the Ohio Department of Health during work/business hours. The personal care services include assistance with setting up the workstation at beginning of the workday, packing up workstation at the end of the day, lunch/breaks (feeding), and restroom care/personal hygiene. The work schedule of this position is APPROXIMATELY from 8AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday (1/2-hour unpaid lunch) and you must be onsite with the ODH employee for the entire shift. The position will work between the employee's central Ohio residence (3 days a week) and from the office which is in downtown Columbus (2 days a week). In this position you can wear business casual clothing, scrubs are not required. The employee does have cats, so please be sure you do not have any allergies to cats/dogs.

JOB DUTIES IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE:
Provide direct patient care and assist with provisions of personal hygiene and activities of daily
living (i.e. feeds, bathes, dresses, moves/lifts patients, provides preventative skin care, brushes
teeth, cleans/trims fingernails, changes bedding and incontinence pads/briefs, collects vital
signs, measures height & weight, measures fluid intake/output); makes observations of patient
condition and timely reports/documents all findings; assists with doctor's sick call and doctor's
rounds; responds to emergency by providing emergency care and cardiopulmonary
resuscitation; documents all patient care; makes beds; maintains cleanliness of patient
area/equipment; escorts patients as needed; communicates with patients to assess and
communicate patient needs; provides assistance to healthcare staff; reviews shift report from
preceding shift(s); performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Listed on Ohio Nurse Aide Registry and possess CPR certification for the healthcare professional; 6 months of work experience as an STNA.
