Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team for a temporary position from 05/15/2023 to 07/28/2023. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate filling and packaging of prescriptions, maintaining inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, meeting pharmacy productivity standards.
- Label products with appropriate cautionary or auxiliary labels.
- Participate in periodic inventory checks.
- Assist with drug and supply check-ins, shelf stocking, and removal of expired items.
- Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
- Process returned medications for credit or disposal.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Perform additional tasks based on assigned area:
- Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room work
- Automated machine drug prepacking
- Inventory management and expired medication identification
- Data entry for patient information and medication orders
- IV medication mixing and packaging
- Service facility-based medication dispensing machines.
- Complete assigned tasks as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification/license.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Accurate prescription filling and medication packaging.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software for data entry and labeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professionalism and customer service orientation.
