Licensed Nurse (Resident Health)
Location: Lexington, MA

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
Typical shifts: Weekdays 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Weekends 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (every other weekend required)
Salary Range:


  • LPN: $34 - $40 per hour

  • RN: $45 - $50 per hour
    (Salary is competitive; open to discussion for candidates with higher rates)


Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our Resident Health department, providing case management and direct nursing care to independent living residents. The role involves frequent walking and visiting residents' apartments to deliver personalized health services.



Responsibilities:


  • Participate in daily care planning meetings.

  • Develop and implement individualized written plans of care.

  • Conduct resident visits according to the care plan, assessing physical and emotional status.

  • Provide direct nursing care as needed.

  • Collect lab specimens (sputum, urine, etc.), take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure), and perform treatments per physician orders.

  • Ensure all residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect, providing person-centered care.

  • Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules.

  • Collaborate with residents' physicians on care, treatment, and rehabilitation plans.

  • Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care.

  • Meet with residents and/or family members as necessary.

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls in residential apartments.


Qualifications:


  • Current LPN or RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Experience working with elderly residents in a nursing or healthcare setting preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

  • Demonstrated patience, understanding, and compassion when interacting with residents.
