This role would be dispensing with cross training in prior authorizations.
Full Time Hours: Rotating shifts so would be 10-630, 11-730, 12-830 from week to week.
Part Time Hours: Mon - Fri : 5 PM - 9 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Processes electronic pharmacy claims and follows up on all point of sale insurance claim denials
- Takes the appropriate steps to assure correct and timely filing of insurance
- Enter patient information and prescriptions into computer system
- Process refills of medications correctly based off of the patients' insurance
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
