client Health's Enterprise Procurement department, a key function within the company's newly formed Global Business Services organization, is in search of a a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing - Corporate Shared Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of a broad array of sourcing projects (i.e. RFPs, RFQs, negotiations) for indirect products and services across the enterprise.
In addition to managing sourcing projects, this role involves assessing cost reduction opportunities by researching market trends, internal spend data, and evaluating current agreements with client Health's vendor partners. In this role, you may also be tasked with supporting Procurement leadership with the execution of other key special projects (e.g. acquisition integration, etc.).
This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing - Corporate Shared Services, and will work in a team environment that provides support and guidance to ensure that Strategic Procurement is effectively serving its internal stakeholders.
The Strategic Sourcing team manages over $9B in annual indirect spend across a range of IT and non-IT categories that support key business units across the enterprise (Retail, PBM, Insurance, Specialty/Clinical, etc.). As a Senior Analyst on the Sourcing team, you should have an enterprise mindset, possess an entrepreneurial self-starting mentality, and be a strong communicator who is able to establish lasting relationships with business leaders as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute and lead a variety of sourcing events in support of category
* Work with Sourcing Category Managers to develop the strategy and approach for each RFx event
* Compile scope of work and requirements, analyze and evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate final commercial terms
* Develop and confidently present analysis - both quantitative and qualitative - to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award business
* Organize and lead effective meetings with internal stakeholder and external suppliers
* Conduct market research that supports negotiation strategies and award decisions for each sourcing event
* Effectively communicate and demonstrate Strategic Sourcing's value proposition to internal business partners/stakeholders
This role will be a hybrid position, expected to be in-office 2x week in Woonsocket, RI; Hartford, CT; or Scottsdale, AZ
Required Qualifications:
* 1 or more years related professional experience
* 1 or more years advanced experience with Microsoft Excel in a professional or academic setting. Especially regarding data manipulation and formatting (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Graph/Chart experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous analytical or procurement experience a plus
* Concentration of study in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance.
* MBA - Master's Degree in a related field of study is a plus
* Eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilities
* Experience with electronic sourcing platforms, such as Ariba eSourcing, strongly preferred
* Negotiation Skills / Experience
* Continuous Improvement / Lean Six Sigma Project Experience
* Vendor Management / Consolidation Experience
* Strong organization and project management skills
* Ability to quickly capture, analyze, and summarize large data sets
* Shown ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-up
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quickly
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Preferably a major related to Management, Business, Economics, Supply-Chain, Finance, Accounting.
