One of our clients is looking for an Analyst I - Underwriting.
Location: Franklin, Tennessee (ONSITE POSITION)
Job Type: Contract-Full Time (1 year contract)
Pay rate: $17.00-17.50/hr.
Shift hours: Monday-Friday 8am -5pm
Job Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Underwriting Department by answering calls from potential new insurers.
* Conducting medical telephone interviews, and processing applications as directed by supervisor in support of stated mission and key performance measures.
* Scope may be limited to a single or minimal number of products.
Qualifications:
* Working understanding of medical terminology
* 1-2 years of Underwriting experience.
* Demonstrated success in a production-orientated environment meeting or exceeding production targets.
* Knowledge of insurance, rating and underwriting and
accounting concepts a plus.
* Demonstrated success prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work in a call center environment
