The Piece Picker/Order Selector prices and packs merchandise in trays to fill orders for shipment to our CVS retail stores.
MON-FRI 3:30pm-11:30pm. OT required if heavy. 10 hour day and up to 60 hour week |
The job descriptions below outline some of the tasks for specific roles. Candidates who are awarded roles will be expected to be trained in multiple areas of OTCHS to ensure maximum flexibility.
OTCHS Utility
Perform a variety of assigned work tasks to include those related to loading and freight handling functions. Some include but not limited to:
1. Transferring freight to and from Sure Sort machines
2. Verifying all required items are processed for downline customer
3. Process orders that are completed
4. Comprehend lighting system to ensure order completion/issues to communicate on the conveyor/Sure Sort system
OTCHS Packer
Perform a variety of assigned work tasks to include those related to loading and freight handling functions. Some include but not limited to:
1. Transferring freight into Auto Bagger
2. Verifying all required items are in bags /boxes prior to departure (documents, labels, location, etc)
3. Process orders to show completion
4. Comprehend lighting system to ensure order completion/issues to communicate on the conveyor system
Qualifications:
* Warehouse experience not required; best fits are workers who are used to moving 8+ hours a day (retail, fast food, etc.). Workers from desk jobs/call center would not be a fit.
* Must be 18 years old
* Straight time up to 40 hours; if hired perm overtime would be required.
* Regular and Reliable Attendance.
* Ability to read, write and count accurately.
* Lifting: Frequent 30-50lbs. Up to 75lbs with team lift.
* Constant bending/reaching/stooping, constant walking/standing/climbing.
* Work Environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling and automated equipment, and conveyors.
* Normal eyesight - regular or corrected.
* Multi-task on different functions.
* Good computer processing skills (process data on screen)
