Job Opening: Pharmacy Technician - Call Center Support (Remote)
Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM-8:00 PM CT
Training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM CT
Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician - Call Center Support, where you'll assist members and providers by phone through the prior authorization process. You'll provide top-tier customer service, document all interactions accurately, and direct clinical inquiries to pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders
Provide non-clinical assistance for prior authorization requests
Document approvals and denials with accuracy and timeliness
Route clinical questions to pharmacists
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a customer service/call center role
High school diploma or GED (required)
Strong computer and communication skills
National pharmacy technician certification preferred but not required
Must be eligible for state license/registration (if applicable)
