This position is to pack patient medication orders on our production line. Position requires 2 closing shifts per week 11am- 7:30 pm. Close 1 Friday per month. This position works with the operations pharmacist, operations supervisor and pharmacy technicians to coordinate, assemble and package patient orders for shipment. Responsible for maintaining the stock in the warehouse area in a clean and organized manner. Responsible for conducting physical inventory and daily cycle counts. Restocks the pharmacy picking areas.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 35-50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk and lift for several hours at a time. This position is physically demanding.

Work Environment: Warehouse may be licensed in some states by the State Board of Pharmacy and therefore have security/pharmacy restrictions. May be exposed to hazardous materials through the processing of returned goods.

Retrieve shipping documents and labels from printers and organizing them for picking.

Ability to operate a pallet jack desired.

Assist in the packing and shipping of medications.

Manage end of day checklist log of daily activities.

Receive non-pharmaceuticals via back dock in addition to unloading trucks.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or purchasing environment, data entry experience helpful.

Past experience in pharmacy a plus.

Knowledge of packing and shipping with national carriers.

Minimum of high school education required.

Certification for forklift operation if applicable for branch equipment.

Must be able to communicate effectively through basic reading and writing skills.

Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and instruction.

Basic typing skills.

This position requires solid organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and to manage time efficiently.
