Duration of Assignments: 3 months; will extend for good candidate
Monday-Friday 10:30am-7pm
No piercings above the neck (need to be removed)
No nail polish/artificial nails
No Makeup

Smoking - allowed outdoors on the perimeter only

Comfortable Clothing is strongly encouraged:
Sneakers okay
Scrubs provided by CVS (every time in clean room)
Wearing clothing under scrubs is okay provided it is not visible (at neck line, wrists, ankles)

MA Pharm Tech License - willing to train (limited to no compounding experience) - Worker must have at least a Trainee License in MA

Computer Training - 1-2 weeks (Depending on experience) - LearningHub-based
Testing - (media fill - clean room training (with RPh)…ensure proper steps are followed) - Once testing is complete, it is sent offsite and takes 2 1/2 week for results to be returned. If fail, they need to retake and start process over.

Complete training takes 2 months
4 weeks compounding experience

Post Training Hours: Flexible to work between 10a - 8p
In order to be on morning shift, contingent worker must be trained in all facets of operations

Performs compounding and any other tasks as required that relate to the dispensing of infusion therapy or as assigned.

Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all pertinent local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations. Perform sanitation and maintenance of the cleanroom area. Perform sanitation, maintenance, and tracking of infusion equipment. Perform pharmaceutical infusion compounding activities. Participate in pharmacy quality control and performance improvement activities. Perform pharmacy inventory control. Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA. Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location. Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to thirty (30) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
